Today for Inquiry we learnt about the side effects of eating junk food for ages.
First , i had partners with me to help.We also had to do Research about it.I found heaps of infomation about it.
Then , I added it into the DLO and changed hard words into easy words so we can understand better.
Lastly, we decorated it and showed it to Miss Tele’a.
Today we are learning about Capacity & Volume
First i made a copy of it & started working on it
Next i was on my volume slide & was almost about to finish it
Lastly i get to finsih it & started sharing it to the teacher
For PB4L our job was to create A ”Class Rules ” poster because LS1’s behaviour has been bad.
We always have’t to do this so we can follow the classroms rules properly.
First,we all got sended off by Miss Tele’a & started our Classroom rules poster.
Then I did the rules and the title.
After that I added the pictures.
Lastly, I decorated the poster.
I enjoyed doing it.
I need to work on doing more spaces and make the texts bigger.
For Te Reo ,Whaea Odie did Te Reo with us in a little group.We had to figure out who were the people that were coming to the cornation day in England.
First, we talked about Princes,Kings,Queens,& Princess in the royal family of england.
Next,we talked about who was becoming the new Queen & king.But right now theres no Queen Yet.
Finally,we had to name some of the important people that were coming to the cornation day on our work.
I enjoyed figuring out who the people were.
I need to work on giving more information.
Today me and my partner summarised a book called ”Goldilocks and the three bears”,But there was a twist .We had wrote differnt words using the story that was given to us,And did 3 main sentences that were in the story.Also,i thought we had did a great job at this because we were focusing on the work instead of talking.I did well at coming up with words to put in the story. I enjoyed reading the story we had made. And I need to get better at understanding better.
I learnt about ANZAC Food Rations.
First,we had to find pictures of each Food or object…And find out the Nutritional Value for the Food .
It had to be metric measurements.
Lastly, my partner and me had to convert Ib which means ”pounds”.We had to convert ”pounds” into grams.
I enjoyed converting it. I did well at screenshotting the Nutritional Values. I need to get better at understanding more.
We have learnt about what a water filter is and what it is used for. A water filter is a device used to remove impurities from water to make it safe and clean to drink. This is important because access to clean water is a global issue.
This is LS1’s work for PB4L .For PB4L we learnt about how it feels to be in someones shoes that had a hard or good life but people didn’t think about it enough. Some people don’t notice how bad somebodys life is then they think. People should always know this because some of us dont realise how our friends feel if you ever be mean to them.
