This week we had to work on slides on friction.
First we had to test it on concrete and on smooth ground.
Then we had to write it down and put in things that happend while it went.#
After that we had to write our conclusions on slide 3 and 4.
Finally we had to blog.
This week we had to 2 work slides to caculate the area of a square.
First we had to do lines and change the color.
After that we had to do either square or rectangle.
Then we had to do some shapes in our maths book.
Finally we had to blog.
This week our LI was to caculate the area of a shape with either squares or lengthxwidth.
First we had to measure the squares and squares are 1 cm each.
Then we had to put it in and go down each slide.
After that we had to make sure it was correct.
Finally we had to blog.
These past two weeks we had to work on this.
First we had to answer some questions and read the text.
After that we had to comment the answers of the words and research
and put it in the comments as the answer.
Then we had to highlight the words we did.
Finally we had to blog.
This week for Reading we had to work together with Miss Lowans and work on this.
First Miss Lowans told us to comment and answer each of the questions.
Then we had to read the text and use that information to answer.
Next we had to make a summary about a procedural text.
Finally we had to blog.
My summary was: Procedural texts is a numbered sequence of actions or steps needed to make or do something they also have Punctuation Bossy, verbs Complex words and Descriptive words
This week on Wednesday Room 6 and Room 7 went on a trip to Howick Historical Village.
We learnt lots of things like how to make butter and how it worked in the old in days.
First my group made butter and each of us got to have a turn.
Then we had to look around and had a tour around the old in days houses in our group.
After that we played with some old in days toys and tried to work them.
Finally we had to go back to the first point and leave to school on bus and eat lunch at school.
I loved all the butter making experiance.
I enjoyed exploring.
I need to improve on not talking so loud.
This week is sign language week , and for cybersmart we had to make a video introducing
ourselves in sign language. First I had to go with my group to comment on other schools
blogs. After that we had to find out how to introduce ourselves in sign language.
Then we had to make a video and copy the embed code .
Finally we had to paste it in the blog and change the width to 560 and the height to 315 .
I loved commenting.
I enjoyed making the video.
I need to improve on more sign language .
This week for writing we had to pair up with a buddy and cut words
and put it in sentences . After we were finished Puting it into
sentences , we had to highlight the punctions. Then we had
to work on the slides and make it as intresting as Possible.
Finally we had to make our own picture and make it intresting and Blog.
This week for Maths we had been givin a Maths paper and slides to work on.
First Miss Lowans took down Group By Group and for My Group and I
had to expand numbers for examples : 356, 300 + 50 + 6 .
After that when we did five of those in our Maths book we had to work
on slides. Then we had to finish all slides and Blog.
I enjoyed Expanding it .
I need to improve on Math.
For Cybersmart we explored two Schools using Google Maps and also Google Earth.
We all got three minutes each to explore each of the two Schools.
After that we had to choose one of the destanations we looked at and take a sceenshot.
Then we had to put it in our Cybersmart folder and use the Google drawing.
Finally we had to use labels and arrows to show were we looked at.
I Enjoyed Exploring.
I need to improve on making it more intresting.
